Details - Sabre Hard Shell Roof Top Tent
The Sabre is Eezi-Awn's most compact hard-shell — designed for two people, engineered to minimize the roof profile while maximizing what matters inside. At just 15" closed, the Sabre has a side-hinge one-piece mechanism with gas struts that opens the tent in seconds. What I appreciate about it is the intelligence of the design: the ladder stores underneath the tent rather than on the side, freeing up roof space. Add in the K9 track system on top, a National Luna LED, a USB port, and a 2.75" high-density laminated mattress, and this is a complete, no-compromise two-person system that's been tested on every major continent.

KEY FEATURES
- Side-Hinge One-Piece Mechanism: The Sabre opens from the side via a single integrated hinge and gas struts. Setup is genuinely seconds — unclip and push. The entire mechanism is engineered and manufactured at Eezi-Awn's South Africa facility.
- Under-Tent Ladder Storage: The Sabre's ladder stores below the tent body, keeping the exterior profile clean and freeing the top surface for the K9 rack system. It's a smarter use of space than side-mounted ladder storage.
- K9 Track System on Top: Solar panels, load bars, Maxtrax, and K9 accessories mount directly to the top of the closed tent. The Sabre doesn't just sit there — it works as part of your roof system.
- National Luna LED Interior Light: Same brand that makes the fridges we trust. The LED is properly integrated into the interior roof, not an afterthought clip-on.
- USB Port and 12V Ready: Charge devices from inside the tent without running cables through zippers. The Sabre is wired for the way people actually camp now.
- Insulated Roof and Floor: Both panels fully insulated. The hard aluminum shell handles precipitation and wind; the insulation manages temperature swing across seasons.
- YKK Zippers: Every zipper on the tent is YKK. Low-temperature rated, reliable in cold and heat. This is the detail that separates tents that last from tents that fail in the field.

COMPATIBILITY
Four mounting rails on the bottom of the tent fit most roof rack and crossbar systems. The K9 track system on top accepts K9 accessories, load bars, and solar panel brackets. Ships within the contiguous U.S. via truck freight only. Residential delivery available with liftgate service for an additional fee.
WARRANTY
This product is covered by a 2-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty. Warranty service for US customers is handled directly by Equipt Expedition Outfitters.

Whoa Free shipping!
We offer free shipping the contiguous US for order over $199.99! This obviously excludes super heavy and freight items. Alaska and Hawaii are sometimes difficult, so you most likely will receive a call from us, as we may incur extra shipping fees. PO Boxes can sometimes be difficult, depending on the size of the package, so we may email to ask for an address that accepts UPS or FedEx, which more easily allow us to ship to you for free. Otherwise, we do reserve the right to cancel your order.
Regular orders
All Items will be shipped as the customer chooses at checkout, and a tracking number will be provided. If there are special delivery instructions, please leave them in the notes.
All items will be properly padded and packed to minimize the risk of damage in transit. However, if a product does arrive damaged, it is up to the buyer to contact the shipper and file a claim, as all products are insured for the amount of purchase.
Freight orders
We do our best to calculate Freight costs at checkout, but to get the most accurate shipping costs we suggest reaching out to us in advance. Over phone or email so we can give you the spot on costs, get more delivery details and make arrangements easier.

Return policy
GTFO is happy to offer a 15-day refund from the purchase date. Any returned product must be in new condition, in original packaging, for full refund. If a product is defective, we will defer to the manufacturer's warranty, and reach out to them on behalf of our customers. The warranty of any product purchased can be found in the product owner's manual or online.
- Buyer must supply the original sales receipt.
- All returned products must be in new condition, and in original packaging
- It is the buyer's responsibility to either bring or ship the product back to us at their cost before a refund is issued.
- We do not offer refunds on Gift cards.
- There are no refunds on sale items.
- There are no refunds on items purchased using discount codes
- There are no refunds on custom-made products, such as Goose Gear plate systems, or Wild Top Truck caps. If you received the wrong product and it is an error on our end, of course we will take care of you.
- There is a 20% restocking fee on all canceled or returned orders.
If the product purchased does not meet the needs of the customer, we will absolutely do our best to make it right for the customer. This may include an alternative product, or other means to create a positive experience for both the customer and ourselves.
As long as the above conditions are met, we will issue a refund, MINUS A 20% RESTOCKING FEE.
WARRANTY: For products that are being returned due to a warranty claim, GTFO will reach out to the manufacturer on your behalf, to help sort the problem out. Please contact us first if you believe you have a defective product, as often we will want to ship it back to the manufacturer, instead of us.
