WHAT DO COYOTE AUTOMATIC TIRE DEFLATORS DO

When screwed onto any standard tire valve stem, Coyote Automatic Tire Deflators start deflating your tire to the destination pressure that you have set. Then, automatically, they shut OFF at your destination pressure. Your Destination pressure is the pressure that you air down to.

HOW DO THEY WORK

The patented Coyote Automatic Tire Deflators are spring loaded check valves with the ability to vary the spring force via the Adjustment Cap. More spring force means a higher shut OFF, destination pressure. Less spring force means a lower destination pressure. The Coyote Automatic Tire Deflators are guaranteed to cover a destination pressure range of 1 to 65 PSI, CED456.

To lock your Adjustment Cap setting in place forever, you tighten the Lock Collar securely up against the Adjustment Cap. Never use pinching tool like pliers or vice grips on either. This may distort the parts within and cause the deflator to malfunction. This voids the warranty. Use an open end or crescent wrench-like tool to safely lock-in your destination pressure setting with peace of mind that it will stay set forever. In contrast, some other brands lose their setting after just a couple of trips.

DESTINATION PRESSURE REPEATABILITY

Coyote Automatic Tire Deflators are unbelievably reliable and repetitious. We have proved it with ongoing, lifecycle tests. In those tests, the destination pressure has not varied more than 0.2 PSI and no deflator has failed. A typical run time is 50,000 to 100,000 cycles.

PRESSURE ADJUSTMENTS FOR TEMPERATURE INCREASE

As tires warm up, the pressure increases. To pick up that increase from a cold morning air down to a midafternoon, summer lunch break, just screw the deflators back on the tire valve stems and pull the Manual Start Rings. Then, wait for them to shut OFF. Expect only a few seconds of air flow since the pressure increase is typically only a couple of PSI.

SIDE HOLE

The Side Hole is where the tire air comes out. The Coyotes are so finely designed, just holding your hand or finger (or anything) in the exhaust air flow may affect the shut OFF pressure. Keep everything out of the air flow.

QUICK CHUCK

The Quick Chuck allows you to install and remove the Coyote deflators about twice as fast as all other brands. Plus, it starts letting air out immediately resulting in quicker air downs.

IMPORTANT TIP!

Use valve caps!  Un-capped valve stems accumulated dirt in the exposed valve stem. At air down time, that dirt enters the deflator and may jamb it open. However, that is easily overcome. Simply disassemble and clean per Cleaning Coyote Automatic Tire Deflators.

CAUTION:

Low tire pressure makes for unfamiliar vehicle handling. Never deflate your tires unless you have a way to reinflate them to the pressure recommended by your vehicle or tire manufacturer. Compressed air (gas) presents several hazards, so always use protective eyewear when setting or using your Coyote Automatic Tire Deflators. Never completely remove the Adjustment Cap from the Main Body while screwed on an inflated tire. This will shoot parts out of the deflator body and may result in serious injury including blindness.

All Items will be shipped as the customer chooses at checkout, and a tracking number will be provided. If there are special delivery instructions, please leave them in the notes.

All items will be properly padded and packed to minimize the risk of damage in transit. However, if a product does arrive damaged, it is up to the buyer to contact the shipper and file a claim, as all products are insured for the amount of purchase.

Return policy

GTFO is happy to offer a 30-day refund from the purchase date. Any returned product must be in new condition for full refund. If a product is defective, we will defer to the manufacturer's warranty, and reach out to them on behalf of our customers. The warranty of any product purchased can be found in the product owner's manual or online.

WARRANTY: For products that are being returned due to a warranty claim, GTFO will in some cases, replace the product out of dealer stock, and get credit from the manufacturer. However, in some cases, we will have to let the manufacturer of the product send a replacement.
